PARTICIPANTS GUIDE

Acts 10:38 God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.

THE NAME OF JESUS

Luke 10:17-19 The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.” 18 He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

  1. The authority of the word

    • Jesus overcame the enemy in Matthew 4, but continually saying, “IT IS Written”. We overcome the same way! By using God’s word.

  2. The authority of the blood of Jesus

    • Revelation 12:11 They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.

3 THINGS TO DO DAILY

  1. Submit yourselves to GOD

    • James 4:7-8 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

  2. Close any OPEN DOORS

    • Don’t allow unforgiveness into your heart it’s hard to get out so be quick to forgive.

  3. Confront your enemy DAILY

    • 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
